Prayer Works!
Join us at one of our dedicated prayer sessions to ask for guidance, help and to give thanks. Prayer isn’t a ritual that depends on closing our eyes and putting on holy faces. We don’t have to kneel or sit. We can pray while walking, driving, or working. God responds to a two word cry for help in the middle of a busy afternoon, just like He does to a focused prayer time after reading Scripture in the morning. Praying doesn’t have to be complicated. God delights in any simple words we offer Him.
Morning Prayer
Monday 8.45 am - Oasis lounge (20mins)
Prayer ministry
Prayer ministry is where we pray for people and this is offered after all of our services.
Prayer
Prayer is simply spending time with God — talking, listening, thanking, asking, and being still in His presence. Whether prayer feels natural to you or completely new, you are welcome here.
Prayer doesn’t need perfect words or special language. God hears honest hearts
Need help knowing how to pray?
Many people wonder where to start. Here are some simple ways:
1. Be Honest
Talk to God openly about what’s on your heart — worries, hopes, questions, gratitude, or pain.
2. Keep It Simple
Prayer can be as short as:
“God, help me today.”
“Thank You for being with me.”
“Give me peace.”
“Show me the way.”
3. Use the Lord’s PrayerQuality and speed
Jesus gave us a pattern for prayer:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
4. Be Still and Listen
Prayer is also making space to be quiet and aware of God’s presence.
5. Pray Regularly
A few minutes each day can make a real difference.
