Help Transform Lives with our Soup Lunch

Wednesday 20th March 2019 from 12 noon to 1.00pm

You can make a difference!

Why not take time out this Lent and come along to St Mary’s for a simple soup lunch.

There’ll be a choice of fresh homemade soups for you to enjoy, along with bread and fruit and tea or coffee.

In return all we ask from you is that you make a donation to charity.  This year we have chosen to support the work of Christian Aid and, by raising funds on their behalf, we will be helping them to make a difference and to transform the lives of those most in need.

Remembrance Services at St Mary’s

Remembrance Services at St Mary’s

Please join us here at St Mary’s as, along with the entire nation, we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the WWI Armistice.  We remember all who fought, and particularly those who died, in both World Wars and in all other conflicts since.

During our Remembrance services the names of those from St Mary’s parish, who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, will be read aloud and a wreath will be laid in their memory.

Members of our local uniformed organisations will join us for our services on Remembrance Sunday, and refreshments will be served in the hall after both services.

Collections at both Remembrance Sunday services will be taken for the work of The Royal British Legion.
